Title of your project.
Graffiti Art

How does this project continue the theme 'Me, My Book and I'?
Its been a continued theme through my past as graffiti and the graffiti culture is a large part of my life in the last  few years at home in London.

Describe your outcome in terms of materials, method, themes and content?
My outcome is a range of t-shirts in grey white and purple. Each shirt has a collection of cards (Ace, King, Queen and Jack) all of which i designed myself with influences from graffiti artists like Revert, Aeons, Mad C and Alpha.  The idea to screen print T-shirts came from looking outside the main graffiti theme as a whole and looking into the brands and clothing associated with the culture, this leading me to Alex Jako from Dephect clothing. Dephect are a clothing range that has become popular in the graffiti scene. The characters that i created were inspired by graffiti characters as opposed to just looking at the fonts and tags that are traditionally considering in graffiti.

What range of creative communication techniques have been explored?
I have explored screen printing on to t-shirts. If people are wearing your t-shirts of even buying them then it is communicating with the individual and the more people who see your image the more influence your artwork had.

How have you visually communicated your ideas through your outcome?
The outcome is a collective of all my best ideas

What skills have been developed and explored through this outcome?
I've developed my skills on photoshop though my finals images and moved into developing my skills in screen printing with exploring 2 tone screen prints onto t-shirts giving me an outcome im pleased with.

These are my original images that i used in graffiti style using the techniques i researched from graffiti artists "Revert" and "Alpha" (Alpha created a similar King sketch which inspired these images).

I coloured the Jack and Ace on photoshop after touching all the images up and making them better quality.

DUA

DUA collective is a group of young and upcoming artists.
DUA stands for Design Urban Artwork. The group recently asked me to join them and produce work as well as be given commission work through the company collective of artists. We aim to produce and make urban art more identified within the art world. As a collective all bring different skills and talents to the group. I'm an illustrator, photographer and tattoo designer within the group. Other members of the group include graphic designers, animators and graffiti artists. Together as a collective we aim to produce a high quality standard of work for all to appreciate in all different medias and form of art. The company also has a clothing rand now on sale through fentplate records and DUA. The T-shirts were designed by DUA artists and we aim to produce more limited edition T-shirts as we continue.
